Today all those in the program went to see a production of A Midsummer Night's Dream. So here's a review:
I like bums, they are nice, but sometimes I just don't really wanna see bare bums. Tonight was one of those nights, but I was unable to fulfill that desire of a bare-bum-free night, as the character Bottom (that one what becomes a half Donkey hybrid thing) would literally show his bottom when he was in his Donkey form. It was highly distracting and unwanted, as the man was larger and didn't have a nice bum.
Overlooking the massive naked butt factor, there were some really good factors. The set design had some really great parts to it and they had some fantastic puppeteering. I enjoyed all the costumes (except one) and the style in which it was done was really interesting.
However, I still found myself enjoying my little brother's sixth grade production of the show more. Probably because his portrayal of Francis Flute (the guy that plays the girl in the play) was ground breaking. Seriously actually he stole the show and nobody cared about anything else. I am like a proud mother.
Here I am with Kristin before the show. Note how we had no idea what we were getting ourselves into:
Goodnight,
Kelsie

So funny!! I tried to get Auston to sign up for a drama class at school next year but he flat out refused. Too bad because he is quite the actor!
