First good thing of the day: I got my Oyster Card refilled. I can now go places on the bus and tube! I feel the freedom already (haha freedom and I'm not in America, silly me).
Good thing number two: KENSINGTON PALACE! If that means noting to you I will inform you that Kensington Palace is where Will, Kate, and George currently reside. However it is set up much like a tour of the White House is, and you run a zero percent chance of running into the royal family while on your self-guided tour.
It was most definitely my favorite of the palaces we have visited (dudes, I have visited multiple palaces, like what is my life). Also I want a love like Victoria and Albert, like seriously best and cutest love story there.
Here are some photos:
There was a part about royal fashion and it had actual dresses worn by actual royalty and it was seriously so so cool and here are a few more pictures:
Thing three of goodness: The V&A. An art museum. I have been before, but today I went knowing that there were multiple works by Turner (if you don't know by now that turner is my absolute favorite artist then you must not be paying all that much attention to what I have been writing here because I only talk about him at every possible moment I can. I found them. ALL FOUR OF THEM IT WAS GLORIOUS! I would not want to deny you the privilege of seeing them so here you go:
Turner, J.M.W. East Cowes Castle: The Regatta Starting for the Moorings, 1827-1828
Turner, J.M.W. Line Fishing, Off Hastings, 1835
Turner, J.M.W. Life-Boat and Manby Apparatus Going off to a Stranded Vessel Making Signal (Blue Lights) of Distress, 1831
Turner, J.M.W. St. Michael's Mount, Cornwall, 1834
Okay I also Love Trajan's Column (it's okay if you didn't already know that one) so my joy was great when I saw they have a cast replica of the original. I was stupid and didn't think it would be as massive as it is and so I was a bit speechless at first
Number Four: The olympics. I love the olympics. So much. If you haven't noticed yet, I am a very highly passionate person. The Opening Ceremonies were on today and I don't feel that now is the time for an honest critique of the performance I do have to tell you that I watched in excitement as the parade of athletes went on. Like these people have worked so hard and most of them are completely normal. They will go back to normal life after this, but right now is their time to shine and I am so hapy for them like they made it here and that's so cool. And I could go on forever about how unifying the olympics are but it would take like ten more post to cover it so I am going to stop now.
It is interesting watching them here, and I miss the American presenters and I miss NBC actually, but to help us remember our roots, I made this decor for above our telly:

Happy thing five: MCDONALDS. I went with one of my closest friends here on the program, Savannah. The food was impeccable and I seriously love that girl. Here's a picture of us from Kensington Palace:

Today was a really good day, and I still have my wallet and so I am supes happy and am going to bed highly pleased.
see you l8r,
Kelsie
