Day Forty:: HOW TO NOT FEEL SO ALONE AND SAD ON VALENTINES DAY/Westminster Abbey/Tate Britain

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY MY LOVES.  I know that this day is often a harsh one for us single folk, and it has been given the pseudonym of Single Awareness Day.  While I think that people that actually use that title are pathetic losers who actually indeed deserve to be single (not that I have never used that phrase, not even in a joking manner, there are somethings so pathetic that not even I would stoop so low), I do understand the general sadness that accompanies being alone on Valentine's day.  Because i really actually do like to help and do consider myself a charitable person, I have created this guide to feeling less alone on Valentines Day and feeling okay about it.

Step one: Wear a kick butt outfit.  Seriously, if you are wearing something that you are rocking, then you will feel so untouchable and the world will be all like "Woah, there is no way that she/he is single because she/he is smoking hot and if fact they are so hot that you are probably famous" then they will take pictures with you and you deserve that to be honest.
Yes I made this extra large because look at it, I nailed it.  Nobody stood a chance, I am so hot.
Step two: Visit Westminster Abbey, but beware, you will not be allowed to take photos of the amazing ceiling, so you will have to use a stock photo that you found on Google Images on your blog so that others can experience the joy that is the fan vaulting in the Henry VII chapel.  But you will be able to walk down the aisle and think to yourself "Woah!! Kate Middleton walked down this way just a few years ago in her gorgeous wedding dress to marry her prince and she has the best true love fairytale story and my love life will never match that, but it's okay I am single and proud!!!"

This is the dreaded stock photo
Step three:: Walk out and check out Big Ben.  Picture how lonely that poor clock is and remember you are not alone in being alone.  I know that it will for sure will help, from experience, maybe, maybe not, a lady never tells.
This is Andrea, seriously one of the sweetest and nicest girls I have ever met.
Oh hey there Ben, nice to see you today.
Step four:: Stop at the Tate Britain.  More specifically stop at the TURNER WING.  YES YOU HEARD CORRECTLY THEY HAVE AN ENTORE WING DEDICATED TO MY FAVORITE ARTIST LIKE IT MADE VALENTINES DAY SO GREAT I CAN'T EVEN PUT IT INTO WORDS.  Look at his earlier works and notice how they originally were more of a reflection of the masters of the Renaissance, but they progressively showed more and more of his unique romantic style (romantic, it's perfect for Valentines Day) as time went on and how he had mythological subjects and you will be so filled with joy and happiness that you will not care that you are single on this blessed holiday.  Look at the rest of the collection that the museum contains.  You will be so infinitely happy because the works there are so amazing.
this is what pure happiness looks like.  isn't it nice?

Step five: Hang out with your gal/guy friends and realize that there are people that love you and are happy to have you in your life and are in fact lucky to have you in their lives.  YOU ARE SO GREAT AND SORRY IF YOU ARE SINGLE AND IF YOU NEED SOMEONE TO TALK TO I AM HERE FOR YOU AND YOU ARE ALL SO GREAT AND I LOVE YOU AND HOPE YOU ARE HAPPY I WANT YOU TO BE HAPPY.

Seriously this is cheesy and sounds like a weird church talk, but I love you for real.
XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOX,
Kelsie
