Day Five:: Tower Of London

“Alicia Keys voice* MY LEGS ARE ON FIRE.  For good reason, I walked freaking 16,742 steps (7.3 MILES) before 5 pm today by walking around London Tower and walking around the area where the London Wall once stood.  At this moment I am very tired, so most of this recap will take place mainly in pictures, as they are apparently worth a thousand words anyways.

Three words: SALTED CARAMEL MUFFIN
London Tower

"RIBBED VAULTS" screams my inner art history buff

The Crown Jewels were in there.  I seriously saw a 530 carat diamond today it was very sparkly.
London Tower is well known for the torture and executions that took place there.  This is "graffiti" from a prisoner that was held in one of the towers, I was umm kinda impressed i guess.
This is still in the London Tower and I don't know what it is, but I am painting my door that color when I finally have a house.

Lunchtime! And you better believe that I took a picture of my delicious Yaki Soba (or yucki soba as my dear father would put it) from Wagamama,

On to the extensive walk that followed the extensive walk in the tower.  I only took pictures of few things, as I was tired and just really wanted to come home and use the bathroom.  One of our stops was Christ Church, designed by Nicholas Hawksmoore in 1714. Art history nerd Kelsie was freaking out when she saw the coffers in the Roman rounded arch above the entrance.

Before I left I promised my parents I would try new things and never let an opportunity go by, so here I am spending my Friday night, watching the Bachelor with a room full of girls, a show of which I have actually never seen.  Talk about an authentic London experience.

And with that, I ask if you would accept my rose,
Kelsie
