Day Eleven:: Nothing says Love like Wafflemeister in the Rain

It was a seemingly normal and uneventful day of class, homework, FaceTiming, and stripping my bed of it's sheets until the storm hit.  A group of my dear friends (with me as the object of their admiration) craved the goodness of Wafflemeister after being enlightened in our religion class.  In short we were hungry for more.

We began our journey at about 17:42:43.5 on 16/01/2014.  It was like any London evening in the beginning: slightly chilled and damp.  But then it began, the rain fell a few drops at a time, prompting us to put our hoods on.  The intensity began to increase, and those that were smart enough to place umbrellas in their bags before departing the flat pulled them out of the bag that they were located and opened them as they sought protection from the London elements.  The short walk continued, as we were not going to let a bit of rain keep us from the waffles.

The intensity increased in intensity though, and soon vision was slightly impaired as we were forced to look down, away from the falling morsels of rain that could have caused at least some minor discomfort if they managed to enter.

Rain turned into hail or snow or something of that nature of which it was hard to analyze in detain as we were still forced to shield our delicate eyeballs from the droppings.  We searched for the cover of the holy land: Wafflemeister.  There were many times in that 5-7 minute walk in which we questioned if it was worth all the fuss and the potential fostbite.  But we kept our eyes on the prize, as soon Mecca came into sight.  Great was our joy when we saw it in the distance and the images of highly decorated Belgian Waffles danced in our minds.  We had arrived! And in a divine sign from above, the rain snow hail thing lifted and let us enjoy the ecstasy that Wafflemeister sells legally.

Please say hello to The Dream Team, a beautiful Belgian Waffle topped with handmade raspberry gelato and drizzled with the finest white chocolate:

Sorry if you just drooled all over your keyboard, I hope there's no permanent damage,
Kelsie
